60 bed residential care home secured in Oadby, Leicester

In March 2022, O’Neill Associated secured planning permission for a new build 60 bedroom residential care home following demolition of a locally listed detached dwelling house within a Conservation Area in Oadby, Leicester.

Approval was granted following pre-application discussions and the resolution of complex heritage issues, establishing compelling local need and a lack of alternative sites. Tanglewood (the client) are experienced care home providers and were actively involved in ensuring the design met their requirements throughout the planning and design process.
